Job Summary:
The AVP of Channel Marketing will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of the company's channel marketing efforts, including developing and executing channel marketing strategies and managing channel programs which include loyalty and community programs. This role will require strategic planning, creative thinking, and excellent leadership skills to drive the company's channel marketing initiatives and ensure the success of our brand in the market.

Responsibilities:

  • Channel Marketing Strategy: Develop and implement comprehensive channel marketing strategies to drive revenue growth through channel partners. This includes identifying target markets, evaluating channel partner opportunities, developing go-to-market strategies, and creating marketing plans and campaigns to support partner initiatives.
  • Channel Program Management: Design, implement, and manage channel marketing programs, promotions, and campaigns to generate demand and increase partner engagement. This includes creating joint marketing plans with partners, co-create content and executing co-marketing activities, tracking program performance, and providing regular reporting and analysis to senior leadership.
  • Loyalty and Referral Programs: Develop and execute strategic plans for loyalty and referral programs to drive customer retention and acquisition. This includes designing and implementing reward programs, tracking and analyzing program performance, optimizing program effectiveness, and driving continuous improvement.
  • Events and Community Management: Lead the planning, execution, and management of events, including trade shows, product launches, webinars, and customer appreciation events. Develop and nurture an engaged community of customers, partners, and advocates through online and offline channels. Build relationships and partnerships with relevant industry organizations and influencers to promote the brand and increase visibility.
  • Content Marketing: Develop and implement a comprehensive content strategy, including creating engaging and compelling content for various channels such as websites, social media, email campaigns, sales collateral, and thought leadership articles. Manage the creation, editing, and publishing of content, ensuring consistent messaging and tone across all channels. Develop and maintain a content calendar to ensure timely and relevant content delivery.
  • Team Leadership: Build and lead a high-performing channel marketing team, providing clear direction, coaching, and feedback. Set performance goals, conduct regular performance reviews, and provide guidance and support to team members to help them achieve their objectives. Foster a collaborative and inclusive team culture that encourages creativity, innovation, and continuous improvement.
  • Analytics and Reporting: Utilize data and analytics to measure the effectiveness of channel marketing initiatives, track program performance, and generate actionable insights for continuous improvement. Provide regular reports to senior leadership on channel marketing metrics, goals, and progress.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, product marketing, digital marketing, and creative services, to ensure alignment and integration of channel marketing initiatives with overall marketing and business goals. Provide strategic input and guidance to other teams on channel marketing strategies and tactics.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or related field (MBA preferred)
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in marketing, preferably in a B2B technology industry
  • Strong understanding of marketing principles, strategies, and tactics
  • Proven track record of developing and implementing successful channel marketing programs
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • Proficient in using marketing automation and analytics tools
  • Ability to collaborate and communicate effectively with cross-functional teams and senior leadership.
