Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated Technical Support Engineer to join our Repayments Team Production Support. The Technical Support Engineer will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our repayments system and providing technical assistance to internal stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
• Provide technical support to the Repayments Team and troubleshoot technical issues related to the production environment.
• Identify and resolve system issues and work with cross-functional teams to implement solutions.
• Monitor system performance and identify potential issues before they become problems.
• Collaborate with software developers to identify and resolve software bugs.
• Communicate with stakeholders to provide status updates and ensure effective resolution of technical issues.
• Document technical procedures, troubleshooting steps, and knowledge articles.
• Ensure compliance with IT policies, procedures, and industry best practices.
• Participate in an on-call rotation to provide 24x7 production support.
Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience in technical support or production support.
• Strong knowledge of Unix/Linux systems, networking, and databases.
• Experience with scripting languages such as Python or Bash.
• Understanding of software development lifecycle and Agile methodologies.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
