About the role
The Social Media Manager will be responsible for developing and executing social media strategies that increase brand awareness, engagement, and drive traffic to the company's website. This role will collaborate with the marketing team to develop social media campaigns, create content, and monitor and analyse the performance of social media initiatives.
What does an ideal day look like?
1. Develop and execute social media marketing strategies that align with the overall marketing plan
2. Create engaging content for social media platforms, including Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram, and YouTube
3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (design, product, sales) to ensure social media content is aligned with the brand's voice and tone and reflects the company's values
4. A candidate who is equally savvy with 15 seconds reels for Instagram and also a 6-minute long for content and be equally prompt to curate content in 280 characters
5. Manage social media advertising campaigns, including setting up and launching campaigns, monitoring and optimising performance, and reporting on results
6. Monitor industry trends and adjust the social media strategy as needed to stay ahead of the competition
7. Track and analyse key performance metrics (such as engagement, follower growth, and website traffic) to measure the success of social media initiatives and adjust the strategy accordingly
Requirement
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field
- 2+ years of experience in social media marketing, preferably with an agency background and experience of working with a B2B/Fintech company
- Strong knowledge of social media platforms, advertising, and analytics tools
- Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills, with the ability to create engaging, snackible content
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to juggle multiple projects and deadlines
- Experience with social media advertising, including campaign setup, optimization, and reporting
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
