Responsibilities
- Liaison and Network Building: Establish and cultivate strong relationships with freight forwarders and airlines.
- Negotiate competitive rates and ensure 100% fulfillment rates from bookings.
- Client Development: Develop a robust network of shippers and customers.
- Provide Key Account Management services aimed at generating a minimum Gross Profit of USD 40,000 from air freight shipments.
- Regularly update clients on shipment progress and maintain high satisfaction levels.
- Operational Coordination: Collaborate closely with Customer Service and Operations teams to guarantee seamless execution of shipments from origin to destination.
- Maintain a 100% on-time performance record.
- Proven experience in Business Development within the Air Freight Forwarding industry, with a track record of achieving revenue and profitability targets.
- Strong negotiation skills and ability to build and maintain strategic partnerships.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of engaging effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
- Solid understanding of air freight logistics processes and regulations.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field (preferred).
