Responsibilities

  • Liaison and Network Building: Establish and cultivate strong relationships with freight forwarders and airlines.
  • Negotiate competitive rates and ensure 100% fulfillment rates from bookings.
  • Client Development: Develop a robust network of shippers and customers.
  • Provide Key Account Management services aimed at generating a minimum Gross Profit of USD 40,000 from air freight shipments.
  • Regularly update clients on shipment progress and maintain high satisfaction levels.
  • Operational Coordination: Collaborate closely with Customer Service and Operations teams to guarantee seamless execution of shipments from origin to destination.
  • Maintain a 100% on-time performance record.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in Business Development within the Air Freight Forwarding industry, with a track record of achieving revenue and profitability targets.
  • Strong negotiation skills and ability to build and maintain strategic partnerships.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of engaging effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Solid understanding of air freight logistics processes and regulations.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field (preferred).
