As the Data Engineer at Inventa, you will play a critical role in shaping how Inventa creates business value from data. We are looking for a candidate who is motivated to build robust, scalable data infrastructure that addresses the needs of our customers and the business. Join our team and help us make a significant impact on B2B wholesale in Brasil.

Your day-by-day will be:

  • Evaluate technologies, develop POCs and solve technical challenges
  • Design, build and maintain streaming and batch data pipelines that will scale
  • Architect, develop and maintain our data platform built on Snowflake
  • Help build and integrate Inventa’s ML feature platform
  • Work with Analytics Engineers to design and implement data models
  • Help with scaling, performance, security, and reliability of our data infrastructure

What we're looking for:

  • 2+ years of experience designing, developing and maintaining a modern data stack
  • Proficient in the programming language of your choice, comfortable in Python
  • Comfortable with software development best practices such as TDD, VCS, CI/CD, etc.
  • Experience with a database technology such as Snowflake, Redshift or BigQuery
  • Strong SQL skills with the ability to optimize expensive queries (dbt is a plus)
  • Experience with an orchestration tool such as Airflow, Luigi, Dagster or Prefect
  • Experience managing infrastructure as code with tools such as Terraform
  • Good communication skills in English - Portuguese and Spanish are a plus
  • Ability to focus on what matters and ruthlessly prioritize your team’s work
