About the role:
As the Segments Manager at Bazaar , you will play a crucial role in defining and managing customer segments based on key business metrics. You will deploy various strategies, including gamification and discounting tools, to encourage customer migration from lower segments to higher segments. Additionally, you will be responsible for developing and streamlining the monthly segments cycle for app campaigns targeting our entire customer base.
- Define and refine customer personas for the retail segment based on key business metrics such as purchase behavior, order frequency, and transaction history.
- Collaborate with data analysts and use SQL to extract and analyze customer data for segmentation purposes.
- Continuously monitor and update customer segments to ensure they align with business goals and evolving customer behaviors.
- Develop and implement gamification and discounting strategies to incentivize customers to migrate from lower segments to higher segments.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to create targeted campaigns and promotions tailored to each customer segment.
- Monitor the effectiveness of these strategies and make data-driven adjustments as needed.
- Create and maintain a structured and efficient monthly segments cycle for app campaigns.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product, and analytics, to ensure timely execution of campaigns.
- Analyze campaign results and provide insights to improve future segmentation and engagement efforts.
Customer Engagement Strategies:
Segmentation Cycle Management:
- Bachelor's degree in Analytics, Computer Science, Business or a related field.
- Proven experience in data analysis and segmentation, with proficiency in SQL.
- Strong understanding of customer behavior and segmentation strategies.
- Experience in gamification and discounting strategies is a plus.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
